Are you a dog friendly venue?
Yes! Downderry beach is one of the few beaches that are dog-friendly, hence our restaurant and all 8 of our hotel rooms are dog-friendly. We also have doggy ice cream. We charge an extra £20 per booking for up to 4 nights. £25 for 5+ nights.
I made a hotel booking on booking.com and need to cancel, can I do this over the phone?
Any room booking, made on Booking.com is managed by them. We are unable to amend, manage or cancel any bookings that aren’t made through us. If you’d like to cancel your booking that was made on booking.com, please do so via their website.
What's the situation with number of guests that comply with current government guidelines?
We are currently still being governed by the Rule of Six, inside and out. However, as per government guidelines, you are allowed any number of guests as long as these guests all belong to two households. So, if you were looking to come for dinner, as a party of 12, this would be absolutely fine, we would just need to see proof of address from all members over 13 years old. The could be a drivers license, passport or named utility bill.
I need to amend my restaurant reservation, how can I do that?
You can amend or cancel your restaurant booking through the email confirmation that was sent to you after. You can also cancel the booking through the text message we sent you.
Is the parking free?
If you are visiting the pub or restaurant as a guest, and customer, we give you 3 hours for free. You just need to make sure that when you enter the building, you input your registration details into our system. If you feel that you will be longer than 3 hours (large parties, pre-booked areas etc.) please let our staff know and we will sort it. All hotel guests get free parking, in their reserved spaces and only need to input their reg. details upon check in.
